This exciting online library allows sociology and other social science instructors to easily produce customized course materials for their students.
Instructors can browse and select from an initial list of over 250 undergraduate-level readings from Routledge and Taylor & Francis publications and key readings from other sources. A panel of two dozen academic advisers were asked to select the readings and write the head notes. In many cases, the original authors adapted portions of their own books to create teachable nuggets. Each reading is followed by discussion questions.
Selections are organized by topic, copyright-cleared in advance, and available in print and digital formats.
Simply go online to choose the readings, add other materials, pick binding and cover options, and submit your order. Within two weeks, we print and ship (or download) directly to students.
• Customized materials for more effective teaching: Move beyond traditional, more generic textbooks and engage your students in your unique class with progressive, readable, teachable content.
• Easy-to-use application: We make it easy to browse, collect, and organize the content so you can focus on teaching the course.
• High-quality content you can trust: A diverse group of dedicated teachers who are well versed in the sociological literature have reviewed and selected the readings.
